More Satyajit Ray

Watched Parash Pathar (1958), Charulata (1964), and Nayak (1966) last week at the Satyajait Ray Retrospective. Beautiful films. Each one. And I will write more about them later.

Off to Bangkok in a few hours.

I wasn't entirely sure why I continued to visit and revisit this space until I came to the realization that there was no greater meaning behind the creation of this space. Writing here is merely me being narcissistic and enjoying my own stuff. Organizing my thoughts, reading, writing, work, travel,
photography is my catharsis and this space thus becomes my constant companion, my Sputnik Sweetheart (thank you Mr. Murakami for the title and more), and a great one at that.

And if in this self serving process, I can tell stories of time spent in places not home, show you what I saw, raise some issues important to me, and begin a debate or two about gender, politics, religion, and violence, then why not?
