In your response to the Mumbai terror attacks you say "The Shiv Sena will not allow any cultural or sports-related programmes involving Pakistani personalities to be conducted in Mumbai and all of Maharashtra."
Yes let us follow your wise words Mr Thackeray. In these tense times, let us deliberately break the few ties we have left with our neighbor. Let us sever the commonalities of culture, language, art, music and sport that run between us and them.
For the sixty hours that our city was under attack, you and your Shiv Sena did nothing to defend it. We criticised you for it. But how wrong we were. You are here to defend it now.
And you have clearly and correctly identified what is important in this time of need. As always.
